ATTENTION!! ANYONE WHO LOVES THE STATE!
the first season of the state is now being sold on the itunes music store or whatever for 9.95, or 1.99 an episode. apparently MTV is going to use sales to gauge whether or not a DVD would be financially worthwhile, so everyone should buy an episode or a season or magic. i'm sure you've got a 5 dollar itunes card lying around somewhere. seasons 2 and 3 should be coming soon, hopefully, with DVD (crossing fingers) to follow. support the state!

also, john's an asshole and if we all did what mike wanted us to do, we'd all have dicks in our asses. (more on this story as it develops)

    how safe is your supermarket?
i am anonymous. i'm not anybody, i'm not nobody. i am somebody. it's late, it's early. neither one matters. this is an attempt to fill up space with some much needed communication, but for what, i don't know, and to whom, it doesn't matter. not because the end recipient wouldn't make a difference, but because it just doesn't matter. so what is it to communicate? i don't know you, you don't know me. sometimes there are nights when traffic lights don't ever change but that doesn't matter either. wither and either are one keystroke apart on a keyboard. but that doesn't matter. false sympathy doesn't matter. real sympathy doesn't do much either. i'm eliminating sympathy from my vocabulary. vocabulary and gocabulary are one keystroke apart on a keyboard. gocabulary isn't a word, but it should be.
i'm going to leave, i don't know where i'll go, but i'm going. i've wasted a large portion of my life and i can't tell if i care or not. i can't have it back, but i don't know if i would or not. i'd probably just give it away to someone else.

only the heart without a stain knows perfect ease.
i'm cursed by an excellent memory. it seems i can't really forget the details. sometimes i can try and play it off like i don't remember certain things. in fact, i do this often. just not lately. when there's noone around to make you recall how certain events happened, you don't do too much recalling on your own, unless you're in an introspective mood, and damned if i ever want to be in one of those. but let's say for that sake of argument that i am. it's the days like today and yesterday and actually, a lot of days, that make me wish for some sort of long-term memory loss.

it's odd, because i remember almost every detail, but i don't like to go into them. people say life is in the details, and i say the past is in them. there are no details in the future, only ambiguities.

god, i used to be so happy.

    what the fuck? seriously.
can someone explain to me what Sideways is doing on so many "best movies of 2004" lists????

that movie...was shit. wait, no. it was SHIT. CAPITAL LETTERS. there is no excuse for saying it was good. there is absolutely nothing good about this movie, except maybe that paul giamatti is in it. and even that is like saying that...bringing down the house was good because steve martin was in it. (sorry, couldn't think of a better example in 10 seconds) NO. NONONONONONONONO.

and i don't want to make anyone curious, if you haven't seen this movie. i don't want anyone to say, "well, now i want to see it so i can see if it's any good..." do yourself a favor and just inject a syringe full of air into your veins right now, because that's pretty much the physical equivalent. just the fact that when i went to see this movie, there were like....6 people in the theatre, including carla and myself...and now the fact that since people are hyping it people are probably going to rent it and be hugely disappointed...or else they'll pull an emperor's new clothes type deal and pretend to like it even though they know it's crap.

AGH. if i could completely destroy any movie made this year (and that even includes WHITE CHICKS) it would be this movie. don't EVER see it if you want to remain innocent. for the love of allah.
